All sizes listed for polymer clay cutters are approximate and given in millimetres. Minor variation is normal and part of the handcrafted nature of 3D printed cutters.
Rinse your cutter with warm water after use and allow to air dry completely before storing. Avoid acetone, harsh solvents, or prolonged heat exposure as these can affect the material over time. Store flat or upright in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
Tuba is the paradise tree of Islamic tradition, its name carried through Ottoman poetry and manuscript illumination for centuries. This ottoman polymer clay cutter takes a circular outer form with an open crescent cutout at the base creating a dome arch silhouette, the interior built from a dense fan palmet with fine radiating lines at the base, two symmetrical curved wing forms carrying dotted berry clusters rising through the body, and a small central teardrop at the crown. Pairs beautifully with Fırfır Clover for compact Ottoman earring compositions.
The dome arch form with botanical interior draws from the architectural and decorative language of Ottoman mosque design, where the arched frame was used consistently across tile panels, carved stone niches and illuminated manuscript borders to contain and elevate floral and botanical compositions.
