Penç & Hatayi
TPenç & Hatayi polymer clay cutters bring the stylised florals of Ottoman illumination into clay. The penç is a flower seen from directly above, opened flat and symmetrical and named for the Farsi word for five, while the hatayi is a composite blossom drawn in cross section, petal within petal.
Together they form the floral heart of the tezhip tradition, the idealised garden reduced to its purest ornamental form. This category gathers rosettes, layered blooms, buds and stamened flowers, each cutter shaping the outline and embossing the fine inner detail in a single press. Browse the Penç & Hatayi clay cutters below, suited to earrings, pendants and any surface where a clean, culturally grounded flower belongs.
