All sizes listed for polymer clay cutters are approximate and given in millimetres. Minor variation is normal and part of the handcrafted nature of 3D printed cutters.
Rinse your cutter with warm water after use and allow to air dry completely before storing. Avoid acetone, harsh solvents, or prolonged heat exposure as these can affect the material over time. Store flat or upright in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
Haşmet means magnificence. This hatayi polymer clay cutter takes a pointed ogival outer form and fills it with a dense symmetrical interior built from a central vertical column, layered teardrop and petal clusters flanking each side, and smaller teardrop forms gathering at the base. Every section of the composition is resolved, with the penç-like crown at the top drawing the eye upward through the full height of the piece. Works beautifully alongside Nadir Emblem for layered Ottoman compositions.
The ogival frame with symmetrical hatayi interior is one of the defining compositional formats of Ottoman decorative art, appearing across Iznik tile panels, imperial kaftan weaves and the illuminated borders of court manuscripts from the 15th and 16th centuries, where the combination of structured outer form and organic interior detail expressed both order and abundance.
